My Approach - Gestalt therapy
Gestalt is a holistic therapy where thinking, feelings and sensations are all equally important.

It is a humanistic therapy where the relationship between the client and therapist is an important part of the work .

As a gestalt therapist I believe that all past experiences shape how we are in the here and now, and this will be a focus of the therapy.

I have 10 years experience working with loss and bereavement, and the devastating impact this can have on an individual and their family.

My interest is to be along side a client with the concerns that they bring, such as depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and life challenges.
I have undertaken a Compassionate Inquiry training developed by Dr Gabor Mate.
I offer individual adult counselling and psychotherapy.

I receive regular supervision from a UKCP registered supervisor to ensure that I work ethically.

Confidentiality
Therapy sessions are confidential . There may be exceptional circumstances when I may be required to break this confidentiality, which we will discuss in our first meeting when we contract to work together.

The Welsh Psychotherapy Institute has advanced trainees, therapist and counsellors available in many parts of South Wales and Bristol. They are working towards UKCP registration. They are vetted and work to a code of ethics .
